How did you decide on the name?
Several people have asked me this question.
My Father, Dave Decker was the best photographer I've known. OK I'm a little bias! He was however, excellent. He had a knack with candid shots. Candid shots, in my opinion, are the most difficult picture to take. He was the master with candids. Do you want to guess who shot my wedding?
He passed suddenly in August of 2003. To this day, I miss his guidance in life and his knowledge of photography.
When I decided to start this business, I needed a name. I didn't want the standard
"John Q Photography" name.
I felt it was a little over used and not original. I also wanted to honor my father and favorite photographer. So, Dave's Son Photography was born.
